Sarina leaned back, head lolling on her shoulders, her black bob sticking to her sweat-damp cheeks, her shoulders reaching up to her ears as a long, luscious croak leaked out of her gaping mouth .

“So good, Ty, my God that’s…so good, so…so good …”

Sarina was almost afraid that she was gonna pass out, but that dazzling flurry of activity between her legs was more than enough to keep her swirling in the center of that chaotic rush .

T y pulled Sarina away from the wall and Sarina felt that she was sure to fall. But even as he rose to his full height of six feet, Sarina’s legs slid down onto his shoulders. She reached up, hands pressing against the ceiling for support while Ty doubled his action below, tongue passing back and forth, up and down, poking and prodding as his magnificent body held Sarina’s aloft. She felt like she was floating, flying, propelled by her own gathering orgasm, soaring over Mt. Ty, the ground a blinding distance beneath her .

“Oh my God,” Sarina said, no other words clear to her dizzy mind, senses overwhelming her. “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God…” Sarina reached her calves around Ty’s thickly muscled torso. Her thighs squeezed his head, her hands reaching out as he stepped toward the bed. Then floating turned to flying, and flying turned to falling .

They hit the bed hard, springs squeaking beneath them, mattress bouncing them back and into one another. Ty loomed above her and they kissed hard, the taste of Sarina’s pussy fresh on his tongue. The combined tastes of his lips on hers, shared from one tongue to the other, was unique in all the world, and it had an effect on Sarina’s mind and body she couldn’t have anticipated and could barely understand. But this wasn’t a time for understanding or even for anticipating. This was the time for having, and each were about to have what they wanted, what they needed, what they craved .

Ty placed a condom around his cock and gently eased into her glistening gates. Both were too frenzied for a long, slow crawl up the mountain of passion, but Ty was huge and thick and it would take some doing for Sarina to wrap her body comfortably around it. She was up for the challenge though. Teeth gritted, legs spread, eyes clamped shut, Sarina hissed as she took him in. His thick cock pushed into her tender warmth. Slow and steady, he eased in and then paused, idle before a little wriggle inspired waves of ecstasy into Sarina’s hips, her groin, her loins, everything. Pulling back just a bit, some side pressure to make Sarina’s nerves jump, and Ty began a nice steady rhythm, half-staff more than enough to satisfy Sarina or any woman. Back and forth, his precise, circular rotations cranked up the tension in Sarina’s muscles, and the power of her inevitable orgasm, bubbled and bristled just beneath the surface. “Mmmmmm, oh my God,” she panted in utter ecstasy .

Ty asked, “You like the way that feels?” But both of them already knew the answer. “Yeah, you love it, Sarina, you know you’ll never be able to live without it. Better than you hoped, isn’t it? Better, bigger, longer …”

“Yeah,” Sarina wheezed out, “so big, so big …”

“Can you take it? You think you can take it all ?”

“Oh yeah,” Sarina rasped, “oh fuck yeah, gimme all of it, all of it !”

“I’ll give you more of it,” he said with a wicked grin, “not all .”

Sarina leaned back into the sheets, the mattress giving slightly beneath her, in contrast to the hard flat wall or that hard, flexible Ty—his arms straight at her sides, his chest seeming to hover above Sarina. His hips began cranking faster, Sarina sliding her legs up, thighs pressing against the backs of Ty’s arms as he sank deeper into her, her pain turning into pleasure, yearning becoming burning. She clamped down tightly, lips straining to squeeze that thick trunk, her hips twisting to add some side pressure of her own. Sarina shook her pelvis, rattling it with a vengeance and savoring every sexy second .

  “More,” she hissed, “more !”

  “It’ll hurt you, Sarina .”

Sarina began to whimper as Tyler drilled her harder, raking his throbbing member over her sizzling pussy, rubbed so hard she felt like she might just dissolve in the intense barrage of his pounding. Harder and even deeper, but still not to the hilt, it was as if Ty could read her body, as if could feel just how far to go, just how deep. But how fast was another matter entirely, and though Sarina couldn’t see them, she could feel those hips bucking even faster above her, that steel rail pounding, raking back and forth, unbending and unending, pushing and twisting and then pausing at just the right moment, Sarina’s own hips jutting and pumping and milking that savage member, physically unable to stop. Her back arched away from the mattress, her nerves crackling, her body convulsing .

“That’s it, baby,” Ty rasped, “go for it, cum so hard for me! Long and hard, my sweet thing, just like me !”

Her orgasm would be restricted no further, and it roared inside Sarina’s body, at first a low moan but soon rising to a rattling war cry. It shook her body on its rampage, Ty’s cock only pumping up, fuel for the fire that was about to burn Sarina alive—her flesh bubbling, her skull ablaze. She couldn’t speak, completely entranced, under the spell of this magnificent beast .

“I’m so long and hard, and I’m gonna keep fucking you, baby, so fucking long and so fucking hard…” Sarina almost managed to agree, to shout out, to say something…anything. She failed, gleefully, wantonly, desperately. “And you’re gonna keep cumming for me that same way, aren’t you? Aren’t you ?”

  “Yes, baby, yes — ”

  “You can’t stop cumming !”

“No,” Sarina said, head shaking furiously, pillow rising up on both sides of her face as she pressed her head deeper down. “I can’t…I…can’t…stop…cumming…” The more she said it, the more she believed it, the truer it was. She felt like she was drowning in that cum, drowning in her own hot juices, devoured by her own body, consumed by her own soul .

Her body kept humming, nerves pulling her muscles in unwilling contractions, every fiber of her being consumed by her orgasm and by his control of it. He had her in the palm of his hands, both figuratively and literally, and he knew that. It made him even stronger, even sexier—irresistible .

It seemed like forever—that powerful pummeling, his erection grinding her into a molten pulp. Finally, he came, a charge of energy that shot into her with a vengeance—hot and hard and fast, blasting into Sarina’s body, her muscles squeezing and straining to milk him dry, pulling every precious drop of his juices, her own orgasm still radiating from before. She could sense their juices combining within her, a vessel for their shared experience. As his body quivered and jutted, throwing the last of his energy into her at least for a short while, Sarina’s own body calmed, her orgasm receding. But it would be ready to return, and as Ty’s body relaxed and they settled into a soothing embrace, she knew he would be ready to return too .

Sarina only wondered if she could take anymore, but she knew that, after a bit of rest, she’d be ready to find out .

  Chapter Nine

  Sarina

S arina and Billie walked up to the front door of Ty’s house, but Sarina couldn’t share Billie’s wide smile. “I dunno, Gram; I don’t think this is right .”

Billie could only shrug her chubby shoulders, the warm apple pie in her hands in front of her. “The child’s home all day during the summer without her father for days at a time? Why shouldn’t she love it ?”

“It’s a lot to lose a parent, Gram; I know how… ” But Sarina stopped herself, not wanting to let the rest of that sentence finish itself. “She just might not like it, that’s all .”

Billie glared at Sarina from the corner of her eye as Sarina rang the doorbell. The moment stretched on until the door finally creaked open just a bit, a man in his mid-seventies peering out from behind the door .

“What can I do for you ?”

Sarina asked, “You must be…Mr. Richards ?”

“That’s right,” he spat out, the smell of tuna fish and dill pickle heavy on his breath. He looked them over: two women, one wi
th an armful of stacked casseroles and the older holding grocery bags. “What do you want ?”

“We’re friends of Ty… This is Ty King’s house ?”

Old Mr. Richards looked them over again. “You’re the ones he went to see this weekend ?”

  “That’s right,” Billie said .

Mister Richards nodded, short and stooped with thinning white hair. “I guess you better come in then.” He stepped back and so did Sarina, letting Billie step into the dark, musty house. They got halfway into the living room before Jesse came bounding in from a small room off the hallway with a loud laugh. But she stopped in the middle of the room when she saw Sarina and Billie; she stood frozen in place, mystified, eyes round and confused. She ran to Mr. Richards, who smiled down at his little friend and neighbor and part-time ward. “These are your friends, you remember? You had dinner with them the other night .”

Jesse nodded, burying her face in Mr. Richards’ side .

Sarina said, “We’re sorry to come by unannounced, but we know you two are alone here for days at a time; we thought we’d bring by some freshly cooked casseroles, a few things just to, y’know, help out a bit where we can .”

Billie smiled at Jesse. “You’re looking just lovely today, dear .”

“Thank you,” was all Jesse said, leaving an awkward silence to fill the room. Sarina said to Mr. Richards, “Maybe I should put this stuff away…in the kitchen ?”

“Of course,” the old man said with a tired nod, turning to Billie. “Let me take those .”

Sarina walked with Mr. Richards into the kitchen, leaving Billie alone with Jesse. “Tell me, dear, what were you playing when we so rudely interrupted ?”

“I was watching TV,” Jesse said with a simple shrug, eyes on the floor .

“What’s wrong with watching TV, Jesse ?”

The little girl just shrugged .

“Would you mind if I watched with you?” Jesse thought about it, her little eyes dewy, and she raised her hand and took Billie’s to lead her into the other room .

In the kitchen, Sarina started putting the fruits and casseroles into the refrigerator. “We don’t mean to be presumptuous, but we just thought, y’know, that it’s so long to go every week without seeing her dad, it couldn’t hurt to reach out .”

Old Mr. Richards nodded, slowly folding the brown paper bags to store in a bottom kitchen drawer. “It was very kind of you—very thoughtful .”

“Still, I can’t help wonder if she isn’t just a bit less than happy to see us. We didn’t interrupt anything ?”

The old man chuckled, waving her off. “Jesse’s still hurting from her mother’s loss, poor thing. It’s only been two years. I just don’t think she’s ready for…another mother figure in her life .”

That did make some sense to Sarina, but though she hardly knew this man or the Kings, she felt compelled to say, “Or maybe that’s just what she’s ready for .”

“Then perhaps you’re not ready .”

Sarina turned, surprised by her own angry flash. “I beg your pardon ?”

“After a tryst with this girl’s father, you’re suddenly popping in with food? It’s a bit much, don’t you think ?”

“Well, I guess, but…it’s all in how you take it. We only had the best intentions .”

The old man chuckled, but there was no mirth in it. “Young woman, please, I know what your intentions are. You mean to marry that man .”

“I-I hardly know him!” Sarina wanted to contradict him further, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it for too many reasons to think about at that time. “He did me a great kindness and I wanted to thank him .”

Old Mr. Richards turned to glare at her with his aging eyes, yellow encroaching upon the gray pupils. “Not much has changed since I was young, sweetie, so don’t try to bullshit me. You can work your charms on Ty King, but spare me the indignity of it. And while you’re at it, I wish you’d consider the feelings of that poor child .”

“Perhaps I’m thinking more about them, and about her, than you are,” Sarina said confidently, putting him in his place and standing her ground .

“Perhaps you’re a lying little cow,” He retorted .

Sarina stepped away from the counter to leave the kitchen. “Okay, that’s enough .”

“It’s not enough,” Mr. Richards said, stopping Sarina in her tracks. “That child’s happy as a clam until you come around. Why don’t you give that some thought…on your way home ?”

  * * *

T here was a distinctly uncomfortable air in the car, on the way back to Sarina and Billie’s house. Both Dunne women glanced out the windows, pretending to have the slightest interest in the trees and cars they passed, but really both were just straining to avoid a conversation they were bound to have sooner or later .

So Billie finally said, “Well don’t be mad at me! I’m not the one who treated you so rudely .”

“It’s not that, Gram. But that old man is right—we never should have just stopped by like that. It was very presumptuous, and I told you that .”

Billie shook her head, wrinkled lips pursed tight. “He wasn’t mad at us stopping by; he just wants to protect that little girl .”

Sarina knew her grandmother was right, not that she wanted to say it. But there were other things that were troubling Sarina, and she didn’t particularly want to talk about them either. “That Mr. Richards had a good point about Jesse. If Ty and I are going to be…involved, then she’ll be involved too—there’s just no way around it. Maybe it’s crass of me to be doing this, selfish, y’know ?”

  “No, Sarina, I don’t know .”

“She lost her mother not long ago, just two years,” Sarina said, pulling off the freeway and pausing at the red light. “She’s probably got all kinds of issues about that. How do I know how many women he’s dated since then? My guess is, not too many. That means I’ve got to be careful with that girl’s feelings, Gram .”

“Not to mention your own .”

  “Gram—”

But Billie’s voice came with an uncharacteristic sternness, in stark contrast to her usually sunny, cheerful disposition. And Sarina knew it was more than the short-temperedness or mood swings that came with her encroaching dementia .

“No, Sarina. You’re every bit as afraid of getting hurt as you are of that little girl getting hurt. But don’t tell me it’s your duty to turn away from this fellow and his child just because of the ramblings of some old man.” Billie turned, suddenly distracted, and this did not escape Sarina’s attention .

Sarina said, “Gram, what is it ?”

“Nothing, dear, nothing at all. It really wasn’t so bad, dear. The girl didn’t mind, and that Mr. Richards, well, maybe he just needs something else to think about .”

“I knew it! Gram, I don’t want you to get involved .”

Billie shrugged, shoulders arching up toward the bottoms of her powdered ears. “How am I going to get involved ?”

“Let’s just not give it any further thought, okay? Let’s just leave it alone .”

Billie turned her hands up, gloved palms flat to calm her granddaughter. “Whatever you say .”

Sarina sighed, turning hard on James Street. “I mean it, Gram. I’ll take care of it in my own way .”

  “Absolutely.”

“I’m a grown woman, I can take care of myself .”

“And I couldn’t be more proud.” Billie smiled, a look of pride washing over her .

T hey drove on, but that stilted silence returned to the car. Each woman playing back the situation in their head differently .

  Chapter Ten

  Sarina

C lack, clack, clack, clack …

Fifty feet above the ground, Sarina’s stomach started to turn. She clung to the safety rail in front of her. Next to her, Jesse sat with wide eyes and quivering lips. On her other side, Ty looked down with an amused grin, not the least bit intimidated .

  Clack, clack, clack, clack …

; Sixty feet above the ground, Sarina’s head got dizzy—just the idea of looking over the side to see the Wild Waves amusement park spread out beneath them made her want to pass out. But she held on, more thrill than terror overcoming her as they passed seventy feet, climbing even higher before pausing .

  Clack…clack…clack …

Everybody screamed and threw up their hands as the rollercoaster cart tipped over the peak and began to stream down the other side. The wind blasted through Sarina’s short black hair, sending her locks dancing around her ears and face. The rush of the momentum stormed through her, pressing a smile onto her face .

At her side, Jesse was screaming, though Sarina couldn’t tell if it was terror or joy which inspired her. Up and around, the wooden frame creaked with deliberate fragility, but Sarina knew they’d be okay, just like the countless other tourists and thrill-seekers before and to come. Jesse seemed to know it too, but her little body, which was just barely tall enough to get on the ride, could hardly contain the conflict of emotions .

But that, of course, was the point of a rollercoaster .

How like life , Sarina couldn’t help but think while that cart flung her upward and then streaming down, banking sharp and turning fast. Fast moving and unpredictable, the course hard to follow, thrilling and frightening and dangerous. But at least it always brings you back home at the end .

After the rollercoaster and a few more thrill rides, Sarina walked with Ty and Jesse along the midway section of the park, where games were rewarded with big stuffed animals and a girl’s shrieking glee .

Pap, pap, pap. The BB rifle seemed small and fragile in Ty’s big hands and powerful arms, pulled up to his face as he squinted into the site. Pap, pap, pap . The little piece of paper clung to the metal clip just a few yards in front of Ty. The paper had a black star on it, which was untouched by any of Ty’s shots. Pap, pap, pap. The nub under the metal clip slowly gave way to the rest of the sheet and gravity’s dominion .
